At Plantation Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, our activity director carefully plans exciting and fun-filled events for everyone, whether it’s an old favorite or a new adventure. Activities such as socializing with friends, old and new, attending religious services, art classes, computer classes, gardening classes, and taking van trips enrich our residents’ quality of living. All of our activities are geared toward maintaining independence and a high quality of living for each resident.

November 13, 2025 – The Louisiana Nursing Home Association recently honored several outstanding individuals during its annual LNHA Convention and Trade Show in New Orleans – and receiving the award for 2025 Administrator of the Year was Plantation Manor’s Administrator Keith Ferrington.

“This year’s honorees represent the very best of our profession — individuals who go above and beyond every day in ways that truly inspire,” said Mark Berger, executive director of LNHA. “Their dedication, compassion and excellence reflect the spirit of the nursing facility profession and the values that define our mission.”

The annual awards recognize exceptional individuals for their dedication to providing high-quality care while fostering meaningful connections with their residents.


Plantation Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Earns 2025 National Quality Award

The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) today announced the recipients of the 2025 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award. The program recognizes long term and post-acute care facilities that meet progressively rigorous standards of performance to further improve the lives of their residents and staff.


Plantation Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Earns 2024 National Quality Award

(Winnsboro, LA – July 16, 2024) Plantation Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center has been recognized as a 2024 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award recipient earning national honors for their commitment to continuous quality improvement and their dedication to their residents. The distinction is the first of three progressive award levels through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program. The National Quality Award Program by the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) recognizes providers across the country that have demonstrated their commitment to delivering quality care for seniors and persons with disabilities. “This national recognition is a testament to the exceptional care we provide in a homelike, safe environment,” said Plantation Manor Administrator Keith Ferrington. “Earning this prestigious award is a tribute to our team’s pursuit of excellence.”

Implemented by AHCA/NCAL in 1996, the National Quality Award Program is centered on the core values and criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, which is the foundation of the metric-based AHCA/NCAL Quality Initiative.
