The warm and friendly atmosphere experienced here reflects the long tradition of quality care that was begun long ago when Mrs. Ollie Riley brought two elderly people who had no place to go into her home for nursing care…a tradition based upon our belief that what counts most in a nursing facility is resident care.
We believe our staff makes the difference. Our supervisors and administrators expect more than mere technical compliance with governmental rules and regulations. They lead a team sensitive to the social and emotional needs of the residents. Their presence made the morning extra special and brought a fresh excitement to one of our residents' favorite activities. It was especially heartwarming to see so many residents come together to enjoy the fun, friendly competition, and wonderful company.

You don't have to be a resident of Plantation Manor to receive expert rehabilitation services. Our Lagniappe Therapy team proudly provides outpatient therapy to members of our community, helping patients of all ages regain strength, improve independence, and get back to doing the things they love.
Whether you're recovering from surgery, a stroke, an injury, a fall, or simply looking to improve your strength, balance, mobility, or communication, our experienced rehabilitation team is here to help.
We offer all three rehabilitation disciplines:

Our therapy department is led by Therapy Director Amy Armstrong, COTA, and every member of our rehabilitation team is certified in their respective therapy discipline, ensuring you receive skilled, professional care from qualified clinicians throughout your rehabilitation journey.
In addition to our therapy team, we have a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in Physiatry—the medical specialty focused on rehabilitation, restoring function, managing pain, and helping patients achieve their highest level of independence after illness or injury. This collaborative approach allows us to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care every step of the way.
