Plantation Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, LLC is located in a quiet residential area of Winnsboro set back on Macon Ridge overlooking beautifully landscaped grounds for your safety and peace of mind. Franklin Parish Medical Center, numerous doctors’ offices, and the offices of other health care professionals are only minutes away. The warm and friendly atmosphere experienced here reflects the long tradition of quality care that was begun long ago when Mrs. Ollie Riley brought two elderly people who had no place to go into her home for nursing care…a tradition based upon our belief that what counts most in a nursing facility is resident care.
We believe our staff makes the difference. Our supervisors and administrators expect more than mere technical compliance with governmental rules and regulations. They lead a team sensitive to the social and emotional needs of the residents. Consequently, our employees know more than their job—they know the importance of a kind word, a gentle touch, and the healing power of a smile. This Christmas season, Plantation Manor is spreading a little extra love and joy, and we need YOUR help! ❤️
We are excited to be collecting donations to fill 100 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan's Purse that delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need around the world. For many of these children, a shoebox filled with toys, school supplies, and personal care items may be the very first Christmas gift they have ever received!
Our goal is to fill 100 shoeboxes with gifts that will bring smiles, excitement, and a reminder to each child that they are loved and remembered. With the help of our wonderful community, we know we can make it happen!
🛍️ WHAT CAN YOU DONATE?
We are accepting donations of NEW items for boys and girls of various ages! Below are some suggested items to help you shop:
🧸 TOYS & SPECIAL GIFTS:
Stuffed animals, dolls, toy cars and trucks, small backpacks or purses, soccer balls with pumps, building blocks, LEGO sets, yo-yos, jump ropes, and other small toys.
🖍️ SCHOOL SUPPLIES:
Pencils, pens, erasers, pencil sharpeners, crayons, colored pencils, markers, notebooks, rulers, scissors, glue sticks, pencil cases, and other basic school supplies.
🪥 PERSONAL CARE ITEMS:
Toothbrushes, washcloths, hairbrushes, combs, nail clippers, reusable water bottles, and flashlights.
🧩 GAMES & ACTIVITIES:
Coloring books, puzzles, stickers, small games, craft and jewelry-making kits, dry watercolor sets, and other fun activities.
🧦 CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES:
Socks, shirts, underwear, flip-flops, hats, sunglasses, hair accessories, costume jewelry, and other small clothing items.
EVERY DONATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE! ❤️
You do not have to fill an entire shoebox to participate! Whether you donate one toothbrush, a pack of crayons, a stuffed animal, or a shopping bag full of goodies, every contribution helps us get one step closer to filling all 100 boxes!
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: All donated items must be NEW. We cannot accept food, candy, gum, toothpaste, soap, liquids, medications, breakable items, used or damaged items, or scary or war-related toys. Please keep in mind that all items must be small enough to fit inside a shoebox with other items.
